Brady Wayne Laffoon, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away in Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with cancer. He was born on Feb. 17, 1953, to John and Frieda (Heck) Laffoon. Brady was a member of the Wabash Valley Musician Hall of Fame.
Brady was preceded in death by his father; and stepdaughter, Stacy Watson. He is survived by his mother; his wife of 29 years, Cheryl Laffoon; son, Jesse Laffoon and his wife Rachel; brothers, Steve Laffoon and his wife Linda, Marty Laffoon, and Rusty Laffoon; sister, Beck Smith and her husband Warren; nine nieces; and four nephews.
Per Brady’s request, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be at Riley American Legion on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, from 1 until 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner during the celebration.
