TERRE HAUTE —
Greg Alan Gough, 55, passed away on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W. Va. He was born in Terre Haute, Ind., on June 17, 1957. He was the son of Elizabeth A. Gough and the late Donald R. Gough. He is the grandson of the late John C. and Margaret Rissler Skinner and the late Albert Harrison and Nellie Gough of Terre Haute.
Surviving are his son, Galen R. Gough of Charles Town, W. Va., and daughter Erin E. Gough of Silverthorne, Colo.; one granddaughter, Hannah Marie Gough of Charles Town, W. Va.; sisters, Gwen Marden and husband Ron of Mission Viejo, Calif., Darby Bailey, Terre Haute, Jennifer Short and husband Troy of Dillsboro, Ind.., and brother Gil H. Gough and wife Stacey of Terre Haute. There are also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins surviving.
He was predeceased by one sister, Leslie Alison Dugger of Terre Haute.
Greg was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather and boss. In his early years, he worked on the Nilo Barge Lines on the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. Later he went into the restaurant and food services business as a chef, working in many restaurants in the Terre Haute, and the Charles Town vicinity. He was employed at Cliffside in West Virginia and at Cindy Dee’s in Maryland. He started his own business at Spice Garden and the last four years he has operated with his son at Hannah’s Train Depot in Harpers Ferry, W. Va. He loved hunting, fishing, ice carving, roller skating, photography and creating projects with his beloved granddaughter, Hannah. He enjoyed making people laugh and all things that bring people together.

A Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town, with Dr. Henry Christie officiating with a reception following.
