JASONVILLE — JASONVILLE — Claude H. Wasnidge, 84, of Jasonville, passed away at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, in his residence. He was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Jasonville, to Lowell Wasnidge and Olive (Yeryar) Wasnidge. Claude married Marilyn (Clark) Wasnidge on March 8, 1965, and she passed away on July 7, 1996.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Tonya Wasnidge of Jasonville; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Gayle Wasnidge of Jasonville; sister and brother-in-law, Dejah and Willard Wier of Jasonville; sister-in-law, Naomi Wasnidge of Jasonville; grandchildren, Ali Wasnidge, Cassie Wasnidge, Doug and Stephany Wasnidge, and Shasta and Matt Gilbert; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brother, Phillip Wasnidge; and life-long friend, Bill Humphrey.

Claude retired from Pfizer Inc., after 42 years of service. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of the Jasonville American Legion Post 172.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian St., in Jasonville. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Lebanon Cemetery, in Midland, with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted.
