TERRE HAUTE —
Carl E. Rodgers, our beloved husband, father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at the age of 58.
Carl was born in Terre Haute, on Jan. 29, 1954, the only child of the late Carl A. Rodgers and Mary M. (Taplas) Rodgers. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, the former Mary Hamilton, on March 4, 1974, in Terre Haute.
Carl enjoyed computers, fishing and collecting all sorts of fish. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Mary Rodgers; daughter, Diana Rodgers; and his grandchildren whom he absolutely adored, Chelsey and Bella Netemeyer.
Visitation will be on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, from 10 a.m. until Carl’s Funeral Ceremony at 12 p.m. noon at the Mattox-Wood Funeral Home, 4660 Lafayette. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at:
