James Alan Perdiew
James Alan Perdiew, 47, of Terre Haute died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, in his residence. He was an insurance agent for Old National Bank Insurance Co.
He was born June 10, 1958, in Terre Haute to Dale Perdiew and Rosemarie McKinney Perdiew.
Survivors include his son, Evan James Perdiew of Terre Haute; his parents of Terre Haute; one brother, Thomas Perdiew and his wife, Nancy of Bright; three sisters, Susan Pfrank and her husband, Stephen of West Terre Haute, Linda Young and her husband, Larry of Alger, Ohio, and Diane Rowley and her husband, Claude of Terre Haute; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and volunteered in the children’s sports programs at St. Patrick School. He also was a member of Knights of Columbus, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the Wabash Valley Roadrunners. He was a 1976 graduate of West Vigo High School and a 1980 graduate of Indiana State University.
Prayers are 9:20 a.m. Saturday in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th St., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, with the Rev. Rick Ginther officiating. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick School Scholarship Fund.
