Anna Louise Wehrmeyer

TERRE HAUTE — Anna Louise Wehrmeyer, 89, of Terre Haute, went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side at 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Springhill Village.  She was born in Vigo County, on March 5, 1924, to Albert Summers and Betsy Roberts Summers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Wehrmeyer, on Dec. 4, 2011. She is survived by two sons, Terry Wehrmeyer and his wife Karen, and Mark Wehrmeyer and his wife Carla. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Melissa Parker and husband Darin, Samantha Lindsey and husband Travis, Zach Wehrmeyer, and Ryan Wehrmeyer; four great-grandchildren, Conner Wehrmeyer, Kynslee Parker, Khloe Parker, and Dylan Lindsey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Louise was a retired hairdresser and was a member of Prairieton United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for over 20 years.

Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Duane Caperton officiating.  Burial will follow in Dunlap Cemetery near Dennison, Ill. Visitation is scheduled for today, March 8, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Prairieton United Methodist Church General Fund, in her memory. Also, the family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Springhill Village for the wonderful care given to their mother during her stay. Online condolences may be left at:
