Tex S. Michael

TERRE HAUTE — Tex S. Michael, 61, of Terre Haute, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Mr. Michael was born on Jan. 20, 1952, in Portsmouth, Va., the son of Tex A. Michael and Mary (Gardner) Michael. Tex was a self-employed diesel mechanic and had a love for motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Michael is survived by his daughter, Jessica (Travis) Hostetler of Nineveh; sisters, Mary Jo (Richard) Burrows of Seelyville and Ramona Albright of Brazil; brother, Randy Michael of Terre Haute; and grandchildren, Cassidy and Noah Wilson and Logan Holt.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
