He loved to play golf, visit with family and friends, play games, square dance, cheer on the Green Bay Packers, hunt with his buddies, and travel.
George was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaver Dam, but attended First Baptist Church of Terre Haute, with his family throughout the past three years. He also was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Active & Retired Federal Employees Association, and Dodge County Masonic Lodge No. 72.
