ROCKVILLE — James Bradley “Brad” Lawson, 45, of Rockville, died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was a union laborer with Lafayette Local 274. He was born Sept. 26, 1967, in Clinton, to James Eugene Lawson and Lynda Hall Lawson.

Survivors include his mother, Lynda Lawson of Rockville; two sons, Cory Lawson and Cody Lawson, both of Rockville; his former wife, Rhonda Lawson of Rockville; two sisters, Tami (Jeff) Surber of Crawfordsville, and Lory (Evin) Sciotto of Rosedale; his fiancé, Angie Brock and her children, Colten Coddington, Jake Amstutz and Alisha Myers; and one grandson, Nathan Myers.

He was preceded in death by his father on April 19, 2007.

He was a 1985 graduate of Turkey Run High School in Marshall, Ind. He was a member of the Marshall Federated Church and Montezuma Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., in Rockville, with the Rev. Don Perry officiating. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Friends Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
