CLINTON —
Malcolm E. Clodfelter, 79, of Clinton, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, in his residence. He was born June 4, 1933, in Rockville, to Landi Clodfelter and Ruby Phelps Clodfelter.
He was retired from Duke Energy Wabash Generating Station, where he had worked in the coal yard. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Blanford Sportsman Club and the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Powell Clodfelter of Clinton; one son, Michael Clodfelter of Clinton; one stepdaughter, Kendra and Dennis Church of Clinton; one stepson, Kenny and Pam Holycross of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, David and Butch Clodfelter, both of Rockville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 2 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2013, at Frist Funeral Home, 458 Blackman St., in Clinton, with the Rev. Danny Caulkins officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery; military honors will be performed by the American Legion and the VFW. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
