  An Interstate 5 bridge over a river north of Seattle collapsed Thursday evening, dumping vehicles and people into the water, the Washington State Patrol said.

Julia Anne Neely VanHook

Rosedale — Julia Anne Neely VanHook, 83, of Rosedale, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Union Hospital. She was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Terre Haute, to Richard Neely and Nola (Lowe) Neely. She was a homemaker. She married Robert E. VanHook Sept. 3, 1947.

Survivors include her son, Rusty and wife Lynn VanHook; daughter, Darene and  husband Dan (Bos) Bosworth; grandchildren, Bobby S. Miller and wife Niki of Fort Wayne, Jake Bosworth and fiancé Leslie Mills, Joe Bosworth and fiancé Kara Baily, John VanHook, and Cati Spicer and husband Ben Jones; great-grandchildren, Chad Bosworth and Robert C. Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents;

She graduated from Fontanet High School in 1947 enjoyed Tai Chi, and lunches with high school classmates, family and friends

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Rosedale Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Herb officiating. Mattox-Wood Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
