CLINTON — William G. Russell of Buffalo Grove, Ill., and formerly of Clinton passed away Feb. 24, 2013, in Northwest Community Hospital, in Arlington Heights. He was born April 18, 1937, in Clinton, to William Oscar and Dorothy Delp Russell. He served in the U.S. Army, and was formerly a vice president of The Bank of Waukegan. He was a member of the Jaycees of Glenview and he loved to walk daily.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janice Amerman Russell; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Nancy Russell; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Green.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Chris) Hanaway, Cynthia Russell, Sandra (Ken) Carothers, Pamela Russell, William (Nanette) Russell II, Timothy (Pearl) Russell and David Russell; grandchildren, William, James, Christopher, Scott, Matthew, David, Tyler, Nicholas, Chloe, Emilee, Meredith and Marie; silblings, Linda Green and Sam (Donna) Russell; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Geri Isaacson.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Frist Funeral Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Larry Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
