Mary Jule Ralston

MARSHALL, ILL. — MARSHALL, Ill. — Mary Jule Ralston, 81, of Owensboro, Ky., formerly of Marshall, Ill., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born Jan. 30, 1931, in Danville, Ill., the daughter of Austin and Edith Wright Claypool.

Surviving are four loving children, Jenny Kruger of South Bend, Ind., Judy (Jack) Kercheval of Sullivan, Ill., Steve (Diane) Ralston of Decatur, and David (Ann) Ralston of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.

A native of Marshall, Jule received her master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, and worked as a certified drug and alcohol counselor for 20 years. She was a longtime antique collector and enjoyed attending auctions. In her final years Jule attended the Owensboro Christian Church.

Gravesides services will be 1:15 p.m. CDT Friday at Clarksville Cemetery, in rural Marshall. A gathering of friends will be 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday, at Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarksville Cemetery Association. Online condolences may be expressed at:
