John L. Baker Sr., formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Baker leaves to cherish his precious memories his children Joyce Baker of Antioch, Tenn., Joanie Fletcher of Huntsville, Ala., Jennifer Johnson, Julie Baker, Jerrell Baker and John L. Baker, Jr. all of Nashville, Tenn., James Dean Baker of Capshaw, Ala., Johnny Baker of Terre Haute, and Jerald Baker of Fair Oaks Ranch, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker are 11 a.m. today from the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville, with the Rev. John Baker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Deposit, Ala., with Nelms Memorial Funeral Home handling the services.
