Amanda Lyn Peters

TERRE HAUTE — Amanda Lyn Peters died May 18, 2012, in Fruithurst, Ala., in a single vehicle accident. Amanda was born Feb. 12, 1990, in Terre Haute, to David Lee Peters and Jilana Rae Orman.

Amanda is survived by her father, David Lee Peters of Terre Haute, and her mother, Jilana Rae Orman of Fruithurst; one son, Evan Leighton Hernandes and a daughter, Makynlee Brooklyn Oneal of Fruithurst; maternal grandparents, Kenny and Judy Orman of Fruithurst; parental grandmother, Norma Mae Peters of West Terre Haute; sisters, Tiffany and Nikki Brown of Fruithurst; and a brother, Kacee Peters of West Terre Haute; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amanda was preceded in death by her parental grandfather, Clyde Homer Peters.

A memorial service will be today, June 16, 2012, at Deming Park ODay pavilion. Friends and family may pay condolences to the family from 4 to 6 p.m. A tree and a memorial bench will be planted in memory of Amanda Lyn Peters. Pastor Chris Wilbur of West Side Community Church will officiate the memorial service at 5:30 p.m.
