TERRE HAUTE — Nicholas R. Miller, 35, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born Dec. 1, 1977, in Terre Haute, to Louie Miller and Tammy Scott Miller.

Nicholas was a very caring person, putting everyone else’s needs and well-being ahead of his own. Nicholas was an avid collector of sports cards and Hot Wheels. He loved football, especially the San Francisco 49’ers, wrestling and going for walks. He loved people and he loved his animals.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Pauline Fogle; grandparents, Patricia Smith, Paul Scott Sr., Alberta Miller, and Bud Miller; uncles, Dennis Scott, Billy Joe Scott, Thomas McCleery, and Johnny Stamper; and aunt, Linda Mitscher.

He is survived by his parents, Louie and Tammy Miller of Terre Haute; and his wife, Lori Miller. Nicholas also is survived by his sisters, Lori Frazier and her husband David of Terre Haute, and Katie Kimmel and her husband Mark, of Shelburn; his stepson, Tyler Bruer; his stepdaughter, Taylor Steiner; his niece, Amber McLain; his nephews, Shawn McLain, Brandon McLain, and Jesse McLain; and six great-nieces and nephews.

Mom and Dad love you, Nicholas. You will be truly missed by all who knew you.

Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Victory Christian Church, 9400 East U.S. Highway 40, in Terre Haute, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Pastor Shawn Riggs will be officiating; burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St., in Terre Haute, was entrusted with arrangements.
