Anna Louise McCullough, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Union Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1926, in Edwardsport Ind., to Stephen and Martha Hiatt. Anna was an avid puzzle worker, often times working them until the early hours of the morning. She enjoyed watching television, especially soap operas. She enjoyed driving, especially to Walmart, and having Sunday dinner with her family, but most of all she loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Schoffstall; and her husband, Murray McCullough. She is survived by four sons, Jim McCullough and his wife Cheryl of Terre Haute, Terry McCullough of Sullivan, Ronnie McCullough of Terre Haute, and Tim McCullough and his wife Angie of Terre Haute; four daughters, Ruthie Cowden and her husband Mike of Terre Haute, Pam White, Karen Collier, and Mary Ma, all of Terre Haute; one brother, Stephen Hiatt; and one sister, Edna Fry. Anna also is survived by her grandchildren, Murray, Annie, Shawn, Crystal, Jason, Chad, Steven, Billy, Sis, Elmer, Justin, Patrisha, Caleb, Brandon, Shelly, Michael, Julia, Steven, Matthew, Kimberly, and Little Hoa; as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.

Funeral service for Anna will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, in Terre Haute, with the Rev. Dennis Leek officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on the day of the funeral. Online condolences may be made at:
