FARMERSBURG — Adilyna Jewel Elkins, born to Sydney Elkins and Garland Tuttle III on Oct. 10, 2012. She blessed us 4 months early at St. Vincent Hospital. Even though she was so tiny, she grew stronger every day with only less than a pound to go to come home the unexpected happens. On Jan. 13, 2013, she took a turn for the worse, and at 6:35 p.m. she took her last breathe in her mother’s arms with her loved ones at her side.
She will be missed and survived by mother, Sydney Elkins and Garland Tuttle III; her grandparents include Rhonda Huffington and Robbie Baber, Michael Huffington, Brian Elkins Jr. Tuttle, and Rhonda and Jason Price; uncles and aunts include Joshua and Kara Elkins and Justin Poff; and lots of extended family.
Funeral will be on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Holmes Funeral Home in Sullivan on U.S. Highway 41. Donations will be excepted at any Harris Bank and also can be made online at Adilyna Jewel Elkins fund on Facebook. A benefit dinner will be held on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the community center in Shelburn. All proceeds will be used for funeral and medical expenses.
