Ken W. Baugh, 59, of Terre Haute died Saturday, December 29, 2012 in his home after an extended battle with Multiple System Atrophy. He was born August 26, 1953 in Youngstown, OH, to Forrest William Baugh and Jane Marcinkiwiecz Baugh. He worked at the Putnamville Department of Corrections in various positions for over twenty-five years. He is survived by his wife, Anne Thiemann Baugh, whom he married on October 17, 1981.
Other survivors include a son, Nathan Baugh of Dayton, OH; a daughter, Sara Baugh of Annapolis Maryland; his parents; a brother, John Baugh and his wife Janet of Edgewood, KY; a sister, Joni Blase and her husband Rick of Youngstown, OH; two nephews, Eric Baugh and Kyle Blase; and a niece, Lauren Blase
Ken was a graduate of Poland Seminary High School and attended Ohio State University. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed watching sports and would take on anyone in a game of cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Joe Villa officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association Of The Wabash Valley, 400 8th Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47804.
