TERRE HAUTE — Eleanor J. (McFall) Ellison, 53, of Terre Haute, passed away on April 30, 2012, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, surrounded by many of her loving family and friends. Eleanor was born on June 17, 1958, in Terre Haute, to John R. and Marilyn (Wilkie) McFall. She graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo, class of 1976. On Feb. 18, 1983, she was married to Robert Leon Ellison, who has preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her father.   

She loved to laugh, spend time with family and friends, and play games. Eleanor’s kindness and generosity made lasting impact in all those whose lives she touched.    She is survived by her mother; two daughters, Julee Lynn Ellison of Alexandria, Va. and Danielle Erica Ellison of Terre Haute; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Guinn Gulf Shores, Ala.; one brother, John R. McFall of Woodbridge, Va.; and two sisters, Reba Luken and Eileen Warnock, both of Terre Haute; and mother-in-law, Elsie Ellison of Eustis, Fla. She has one granddaughter, Kelsey Guinn, of Gulf Shores, Ala.; eight nieces and eight nephews; and many friends who loved her.  

Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 5, 2012, in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, at 1 p.m. with Jack Brockman officiating. Visitation hours are from 11 a.m. until the time of services. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
