TERRE HAUTE — (Loving Memories of Our Daughter)

Wendy McKay Bryant Smith, 32, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. She was born to Paul and Kathy Smith, on Jan. 2, 1980, in Terre Haute. She was a 1998 graduate of Clay City High School. She worked for Staples Distribution for the last 10 years.

Wendy was a devoted mother to her daughter Kylee, a cherished sister to her sister Candy, and a friend to all, and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Martha Smith; maternal grandfather, Donald Whitkanack; and an uncle, Larry Whitkanack.

Wendy is survived by her daughter, Kylee Marie Bryant; her parents, Paul and Kathleen Smith of Cory; sister, Candy Riggle, and special friend Adele Rogers, both of Brazil; maternal grandmother, Patricia Whitkanack; nephew, Levi Riggle; niece, Shauna Riggle; her uncles, Kevin Whitkanack (Facunda), and Michael Whitkanack, all of Texas; her aunts, Donna McDonald (Jim), and Connie Brenton (Bob), all of Seelyville, and Barbra Biddle (Tom) of Terre Haute; and several cousins. Also, special thanks to Kylee’s father Mark Bryant (Jamie), Kylee’s grandparents, David and Debbie Bryant, and uncle Will Bryant for being so supportive.

Pall bearers will be Levi Riggle, Bob Brenton, Bob Brenton Jr., James Brenton, Jim McDonald, and Jim McDonald II.

Funeral services are today at 1 p.m. in Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., with Adam Brenton officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at: www.callahanfuneralhome.com
