TERRE HAUTE — Virginia L. Aleshire, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away on the morning of Monday, July 30, 2012, at Royal Oaks Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. She was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Terre Haute, the daughter of the late Earl and Hilda Hoffa. In 1947, Virginia was united in marriage to her loving husband, George Aleshire. She worked as a secretary for Quaker Maid, Motor Freight, Indiana State University and Garmong Construction. Virginia was formerly very active in the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past worthy matron.

She is survived by two sons, John Aleshire of Indianapolis, and Gary Aleshire and wife Debbra of Terre Haute.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was welcomed home to heaven by her husband of 50 years, George.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, from 10 a.m. until Virginia’s funeral ceremony at 11 a.m., at Roselawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Roselawn’s Chapel of Memories. Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family online at: www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
