Gloria Raab

Reelsville — Gloria Raab, 87, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Cloverleaf of Knightsville. She was born Aug. 23, 1925, to Ralph and Nellie Riddell. Gloria was the secretary for Reelsville Elementary and South Putnam High School, and was a member of Croys Creek Congregational Church, where she served as secretary for more than 25 years. She enjoyed I.U. basketball and sat on the Putnam County Library Board. Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Rick Raab; and her sister, Margurite Leachman.

Survivors Include her husband, Joe Raab of Reelsville; sons, Jeffrey Raab of  Indianapolis, and Jerry Raab of Chicago; brother, Jack Riddell; and sisters, Helen Vanes of Oregon, Norma Murphy of Illinois, and Sally Mahoney of Oregon.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Croys Creek Congregational Church. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home, in Brazil. Memorial contributions may be made to the Croys Creek Congregational Church, South Putnam High School Special Needs Fund, or the South Putnam High School Library.
