TERRE HAUTE — Brent A. Anderson, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013.  Brent was born Feb. 15, 1941, in Terre Haute, to Elmer Peck Anderson and Anna Louise Ellingsworth Anderson.

He was a passionate supporter of Indiana State University Athletics and took great pride in watching his grandchildren play sports ranging from youth events all the way up to college football. In his spare time Brent loved working alongside his wife Judy supporting her in her political career, especially during her term as the first female mayor of Terre Haute; he also enjoyed working outdoors in the yard of their Terre Haute home.

Brent had nine grandchildren, Conner, Keegan, Cody and Anna Sullivan, Caleb and Cooper Bean, Trevor Anderson, John Henry Anderson, and Noah Rollins; nieces and nephews, Joe Anderson Jr., Mark Anderson, Lisa Anderson, Matt Robling, Jane McCain, Julie Potee, and Vicki Sordean. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Coffman.
