TERRE HAUTE —
Charles O. French, 84, died, Monday, March 4, 2013, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Born Sept. 15, 1928, in Terre Haute, he was the son of the late Thurman and Eva A. Sharpe French.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty I. Wilson French of Carolina Shores, N.C.; one son, Robin French; daughter, Nickie Hartzler (Wayne); sister-in-law, Dorothy French; and three grandchildren, Dr. Beth Hartzler and Elliott and Lexie French. He is predeceased by his brother, David French.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Seaside United Methodist Church, in Sunset Beach, N.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 4625 S. Springhill Junction, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
