ST. BERNICE —
Mary Lloyd Kyle, 96, of St. Bernice, passed away Sept. 27, 2012, at 5:22 a.m., in Union Hospital Clinton. She was born Oct. 19, 1915, to Harry and Sadie Murphey Hopkins. She had worked at the St. Bernice Sewing Factory, and in Paris. She attended St. Bernice Nazarene Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Kyle; four grandsons, two brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her children, James E. Kyle (Lexie) of Fort Mill, S.C., Carolyn J. Brown, and Arlene K. Craddle, both of St. Bernice, Ronald R. Kyle (Diana) of Terre Haute, Terry L. Kyle (Freida) of Texas, Nancy E. Tapp of Terre Haute, and Lou Runyan (Rick) of Centenary; two sisters, Barbara Krabbe, Patty Alabaugh (Frank), all of Clinton; a brother, Max Hopkins of Minnesota; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Frist Funeral Home, in Clinton. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Garrett Lee officiating.
