TERRE HAUTE — Imilda Jean Oard, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. She was born Oct. 2, 1948.

She is survived by her family: her brother, Don Oard; sister-in-law, Barbara Oard; nephews, John and Bryan Oard; and several grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Imilda Van Buren and Ernest Oard.

Imilda joined the Normal Life/ResCare family in April of 1989. Over the years, she has touched so many lives. There are too many to name. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She enjoyed watching and listening to “The Sound of Music”, playing cards, story books (especially about the Bible) and of course her “Cheeseman!”

Imilda will be fondly remembered as having a warm heart, a beautiful smile and an amazing sense of humor. She always had a compliment for everyone she met.

Services celebrating her life will start at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2012, at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street, in Terre Haute, with Pastor Quentin Isabel officiating.
