Sharon Elaine Moore, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away July 8, 2012. She was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Terre Haute, to Harvey Eli Cartwright and Dorothy Cloetine Payne Cartwright. She was a 1952 graduate of Garfield High School, and also a graduate of Indiana Business College. She started her working career at Indiana State Bank, where she worked for a period of time before deciding to raise her family. She returned to the work force, where she worked for Rose Brothers Trucking. She ended her career with a 27 year employment at The Sisters of Providence.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, where she maintained perfect attendance for the 41 years of her involvement with the sorority. She enjoyed bowling and Bunco, and was an absolute beloved mother. She was the perfect example of love, passion, and kindness in a human being. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Ted E. Moore of Terre Haute; three daughters, Kevin Elaine Moore, Leslie Kunz and husband Scott, and Kris-Ann Moore, all of Terre Haute; five grandchildren, Spencer and Jaxson Kunz, and MacKenzie, Lynzie, and Joshua Thomann; caregiver, Billie LaDune; her loving friends, Barb Dunigan, Mary Daily, and her beloved sisters at Beta Sigma Phi. She also is survived by her loving dog, Cooper the Yorkie; and many beloved friends and family.

Services for Sharon will be Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., with Father Dan Hopcus officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until service time Thursday. A memorial ritual by the sisters of Beta Sigma Phi will be performed at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
