TERRE HAUTE — Robert “Bobby” Scott Gobin, 45, of Terre Haute, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, in Union Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born Nov. 8, 1966, in Terre Haute, to Jack Richard Gobin Sr. and Catherine Hamilton Gobin.

Bobby enjoyed traveling to different places or just traveling on a country drive to nowhere. He was a music, car, and animal lover. He enjoyed researching his ancestry and loved his family dearly. He was preceded in death by one brother; Frank Clark; and his best friend for life, Ralph.

Bobby is survived by his parents, Jack Gobin Sr. and Catherine Gobin; three brothers, Jack Gobin Jr. and wife Jodi, and Mike Gobin, all of Terre Haute, and Chris Gobin of Dallas Texas; one sister, Connie Cannon of Terre Haute; one sister-in-law, Mickey Clark; as well as many nieces, nephews, and a large extended network of loving family and friends.

Services for Bobby will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at 12 noon at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 N. 13th St., with Pastor Chris McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery, in Prairie Creek. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Online condolences may be made at:
