CLAY CITY —
Mylin Dakota Pennington, a sophomore at Clay City High School, began his new life’s adventure, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
Mylin was born July 30, 1995, in Terre Haute, Ind., the son of Paul and Tina (Medley) Pennington. He attended Clay City High School. Mylin enjoyed spending time outdoors, working on his Chevy pullin’ truck, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his hunting dog “Blue.”
He was recently preceded in death by his Papaw, Frank Pennington.
He leaves behind his parents, Tina and Paul Pennington; sisters, Chinoah Pennington (Caleb Johnson) of Terre Haute and Lindcoya and husband Andrew Fidler of Terre Haute; Peepaw and Meemaw, Reuben and Cathy Medley; Mamaw Angela Pennington; aunts and uncles, Jim Medley (Shawn Stewart), Teresa Burgess (Eddie), Garrett Medley (Nikki); Glenda Richmond (Pastor Larry), Dan Pennington (Sara), Bob Pennington, and Jeff Pennington (Sherri); cousins, Damien, Shayna, Colton, Shania, Lynnisha, Wesley (Whitney), Ryan (Ashley), Gus (De), Angie, Emilee, Ethan, Nathan (Dessa), J.T., Tyler, Jesse, Kameron, Mason, Jayden, Will, and Leah: as well as many extended family members.
Services for Mylin will be at First Christian Church, 1875 West U.S. 40, in Brazil, Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Richmond officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Cemetery. Mylin’s uncles Jim, Garrett, Eddie, Dan, Bob, and Jeff will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home, 301 E. Eighth St., in Clay City, Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. and again Monday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
