TERRE HAUTE — Betty Anderson, beloved mother, grammy and great-grammy, peacefully passed away on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Northwest Community Hospital, in Arlington Heights. Betty was born and raised in Terre Haute, and always considered this her home. Betty was 86 years young, cherished her family and will be forever missed.

Children, Glenn Allenbaugh, who preceded her in death; daughter, Robyn Richardson (nee) Allenbaugh; son-in-law, James Richardson; and son, Chip Anderson; grandchildren, Jeremy Allenbaugh, Megan Akoto, Thaddeus Allenbaugh, Jack Anderson and Matt Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Abigail Allenbaugh and Ashton Allenbaugh. Betty also was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Culver and Lela Goodwin; and brother, Robert Apple. Survived by sisters, Dorothy Henry and Mary Collins. She had many nieces and nephews, and she will be truly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Steve Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at:
