TERRE HAUTE — Douglas “Red” Weger, 43, of Terre Haute died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in his residence. He was born February 20, 1970, in Paris, IL, to Burton L. Weger, Jr. and Joyce Ann Givens Weger Smock. He had worked for Modern Aluminum.

Survivors include a sister, Cheryl Woods and her husband Chris; a niece, Holly Woods; three nephews, Hud Holtz, Dustin Smith and Mickey Archer, Jr.; and special friends, Brian Bogard and his wife Angela, Amanda Bogard, Justin Creasey, Norman Koch, Gary Conder, Mike Pruitt, Coby Drake and many others; He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Pamela Judy.

Red loved mushroom hunting, fishing and enjoyed hanging out with his friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, in Highland Lawn Chapel with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. Burial will be at Highland Lawn Cemetery. There is no visitation. Services are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th Street. Service information also available at:
