ROSEDALE — Genevieve Scamihorn, 82, of Rosedale, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She retired from the Eatateria of Terre Haute. She was born Feb. 23, 1930, in Rockville, to the late Darrell Lang and Edith Kent Lang.
Her husband of 64 years, Thomas H. Scamihorn, whom she married Oct. 20, 1947 in Brazil survives. Also surviving, one daughter, Deborah J. Lang of Columbus, Ind.; and one grandson, Michael Lang of Columbus. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of the Chat and Patch Quilt Club, and the Rosedale Sorority.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main St., in Rosedale, with the Rev. Myron James officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
