TERRE HAUTE — Larry Ray Lafollette, 60, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Union Hospital. Larry was born July 23, 1952, in Mount Carmel Ill., to Donald Ross Lafollette and Wilma Jane Porter Lafollette. He was a class of 1971 graduate of Garfield High School. Larry was employed as a custodian for the Vigo County School Corporation. He enjoyed being on the computer surfing the internet, he also enjoyed cars, often trading for different ones as soon as possible. Larry was also a Hamm Radio operator, using the call sign WQ9Y.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David Lafollette. He is survived by his wife, Diana; one daughter, Shelbea Lafollette; four stepdaughters, Sara Manley, Elizabeth Wells, Crystal Morris, and Diana “Pebbles” Manley. He also is survived by one sister, Judy Shaw and her husband Steven; as well as six grandchildren; and many friends, family, and loved ones.

Funeral services for Larry will be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, in Terre Haute, with Pastor Mark Grayless officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley. Online condolences may be made at: www.greinerfuneralhome.com
