Irene S. Hickman, 86, of Terre Haute died Monday, October 15, 2012 in her residence. She was born May 3, 1926 in Dugger, Indiana to Hugh Ward and Laurel Hutchinson Ward. She was retired from C.B.S. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest W. Hickman in 1964.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Drake and her husband Terry; three grandchildren, Carrie Whited, Melissa Cianteo and Shane Koziatek; many other grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Paul Hickman and Daniel Boone; and a daughter, Linda Boone.
Irene was a member of Oregon Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 22, 2012 in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. There is no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street.
