Thomas L. Lawrence, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on Nov. 18, 1952, to Thomas L. Lawrence and Dollie Ellinger Lawrence. He worked as a crane operator for RWDSU Local No. 202.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Lawrence, as well as his children; Melissa Lawrence, Gary L. Lawrence, Lori Lawrence-Deverick, and Belinda Wallace. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; Colton, Piper, MacKenzie, Evan, Landon, Holden, Ashlyn, Abbigail, Robert Thomas, Elijah, Elynna, Hollie, Kaitlyn, and Briana. Other survivors include a great-granddaughter, Mallory; a sister, Kathy Barker, a granddaughter-in-law, Missie; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Gary Lawrence. He was a member of the Good Ole Boys Racing Club, RWDSU Local No. 202, and bowled in various leagues over the years.
Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Bro. Mark Mundell officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at:
