Mary Louise Doyal Callecod Solomon

TERRE HAUTE — Mary Louise Doyal Callecod Solomon, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Meadows Manor North in Terre Haute. She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Terre Haute, to Leroy and Mary Doyal.

Survivors include her four children, Judith Jenkins of Naples, Fla., Michael Callecod of Zionsville, Richard Callecod and his wife Diane of Columbus, Ohio, and Rhea Waters of Terre Haute; a sister, Margaret Hastings of Washington; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, first husband, Raymond B. “Mike” Callecod, and second husband, James A. Solomon; a daughter, Patricia Mefford, a brother, Robert Doyal; and four sisters, Helen, Ruthie, Virginia, and Sarah.

She was a member of North Terre Haute Baptist Church.

Mary’s funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. Third St., in West Terre Haute, with Pastor Brett Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and prior to services Saturday.
