Joe David Dunivan

Joe David Dunivan, 59, of Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in his residence. Joe was born July 31, 1953, in Stilesville, Ind., to Joe Dawson Dunivan and Gladys Eileen Wells. He was retired from the Indiana State University printing department as well as being an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marines. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post  972, enjoyed playing the guitar and harmonica, and was very crafty with his hands, being one of the best carpenters that his daughters ever knew.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by three daughters, April Lane and her husband Dave of Stilesville, Krissy Dunivan of Rosedale, and Jodi May and her husband Scott of Terre Haute; one brother, Larry; and six sisters, Joan, Judy, Marilyn, Linda, Janet, and Marsha. He also is survived by nine grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St., in Terre Haute, with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating with burial to follow in Stilesville Cemetery.
