BRAZIL — BRAZIL — Virginia "Ginny" Belle Grey, of Brazil, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, July 20, 2012, at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute. She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Brazil, as the daughter of Charles and Annabelle Bailey Devlin. She graduated from Brazil High School and then went on to attend two years of business school. She married her beloved Warren W. Grey on July 14, 1946.

She was a devoted homemaker and also operated from her home a Christian book and gift shop called "Ginny’s Gift Shop". She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years, as well as belonging to the Christian Appalachian Angel Project.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren; son, James "Jimmy" Grey; brother, William "Bill" Devlin; and uncle, Harry Devlin.

She is survived by her son, Philip Grey; daughter, Suanne Grey; daughter-in-law, Luann Grey; granddaughter, Megan Bayler (Jared) of Terre Haute; brother, Robert Devlin (Pat) of Speedway; nieces, Nancy Whitesell (Ed) of Portland, and Diana Stigleman (Wendell) of Fairview, Tenn.; and other extended family.

Moore Funeral Home was chosen to provide cremation services. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at the funeral home, with Pastor Chris Gregg officiating.
