FARMERSBURG — Patricia Jane Pirtle, 79, of Farmersburg, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 3:15 p.m. She was born in Kokomo, on May 1, 1933, to William Edward Kelly and Ruby (Banister) Kelly. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was her passion.
Patricia is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Jack Pirtle; sons, Michael Pirtle (Rhonda), William L. Pirtle (Laura), and David Pirtle; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Susan Jewel.
Keeping with Patricia’s wishes, she wanted her family and friends to remember her as she was before her devastating illness. Her family will be honoring her request; there will be no visitation or services at this time. Her family will plan a memorial service for her at a later date. The family has entrusted DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with making arrangements. Online condolences can be made at:
