Rosalie J. Trimmer, 71, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. She was born in Terre Haute, on Oct. 22, 1941, to William E. Stutsman and Edith Ball-Stutsman. She attended Greenwood Elementary and graduated from Gerstmeyer High School. She worked at Meis, Midland Glass and Sony before retiring. Rosalie married Glenn E. Trimmer Jr. in 1960, in Cory. They were married for 40 years. She traveled extensively with her husband and family. She attended Grace Temple and later, Bread of Life Ministries. Rosie will be especially remembered for her incredible generosity, sweet spirit, compassion, humor and devotion to her family. Her grandson, Landen, was the absolute joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn, who passed away in March 2001; three brothers, Bobby Dean Stutsman, William Stutsman and John Stutsman; two sisters, Marilyn June Schriver and Carol Walker.

Rosalie is survived by daughter, Denise Turner (Don) of Terre Haute; grandson, Donald Landen Turner; brother-in-law, Clarence Lee Trimmer (Mary Ann) of Mountainburg, Ark.; sister-in-law, Patty Trimmer of Lewis; niece, Sherry Parker (Gene) of Terre Haute; and several other nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday at 1 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Online condolences can be made at: www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
