Robert Brian Hoole Sr., 51, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Robert was born Dec. 31, 1961, in Terre Haute, to Frank and Mary Jo Rodie Hoole.

Robert enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was a collector of knives and lighters, and especially enjoyed drawing in his spare time. He was an avid football fan, especially watching the Philadelphia Eagles, no matter how bad they were. Most of all, Robert was a family man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Chuck Hoole. He is survived by his parents, Frank and Mary Jo Hoole; his long time friend and companion, Sherry Hoole; and two sons, Robert Hoole Jr. and his wife Amanda, and Jimmy Hoole and his wife Courtney. He also is survived by two brothers, Richard Hoole and his wife Janie, and Mark Hoole and his wife Aileen; one sister, Pamela Sanders; six grandchildren, Bryson, Jaidyn, Rylan, Aiden, Jimmy Jr., and Shylee; and many nieces, nephews, friends, family, and loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Roberts’ life will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th St., in Terre Haute, with Pastor Buddy White officiating.
