Phillip J. Campbell

BRAZIL — Phillip “Phil” J. Campbell, 68, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Regional Hospital, in Terre Haute. He was born Aug. 26, 1944, in Brazil, to Harold and Matilda Campbell. Phil graduated in 1962 from Brazil High School, worked for more than 30 years at Jones Tool before retiring from Britt Tool. He enjoyed fishing and watching racing. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, John Campbell.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Cramer Campbell; daughter, Andrea (Russell) Brown of Terre Haute; brother, Paul (Barbara) Campbell of Brazil; sister, Rose Ellen Campbell of Bloomington, Ill.; granddaughter, Payton Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, with burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Humane Society or Catholic Charities Food Bank. Online condolences may be expressed at:
