BRAZIL, Ind. —
Ronald Eugene Stanfield, 72, of Brazil, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at 11:59 a.m., at his residence. He was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Terre Haute, to Dorothy M. Watson. He married Barbara Cuthbertson in November 1975, and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother; six daughters, De Ann Petee, Debra Bretney, Donna Jean Cooper, Kathy Pruett, Nancey Daniels and Rita Cortelloni: four sons, Bill Manwaring, Jeff Stanfield, Brad Stanfield, and Kevin Stanfield; two brothers, Gary Watson and Donnie Watson; one sister, Teresa Goodwin; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Stanfield; a brother, Tommy Stanfield; and a grandson, Todd Thompson.
He previously worked at Columbia House in Terre Haute,.
Private services will be held at a later date. Barnes and Rice Funeral Home in Rockville assisted with arrangements.
