FARMERSBURG — Rosalie Fox Davis, 78, of Farmersburg, passed away Jan. 7, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Sullivan. She was born in Wilfred, on Sept. 29, 1934, to Arlie and Eva Kiser Fox, and they have preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a devoted pastor’s wife for 40 years. Her husband, the Rev. Paul Harold Davis, preceded her in death in 1993.

Her survivors are a daughter, Merle Irene Smith and husband Alfred Smith Jr.; sons, the Rev. Harold D. Davis and wife Debra, and Arlie Davis; brother, Arthur LaVern Fox and wife Esther. She has seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchilden. She also was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 11866 N US 41, in Farmersburg, with the Revs. Darrell Case and James Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Nyes Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., and 11 a.m. until services Saturday. DeBaun Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
