Jack J. DeCarolis “Jersey,” 64, of Terre Haute, was born into eternal life Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at I.U. Medical Center. Jack was born Oct. 8, 1948, son of Ronald and Carol (Chesnut) Brady. Jack was a self employed carpenter and graduate of Indiana State University.

Mr. DeCarolis was preceded in death by his parents. Jack is survived by his wife of 40 years, Peggy A. (Fess) DeCarolis; children, Mindy DeCarolis and Kevin DeCarolis, both of Terre Haute, and Amy ( Randy) DeCarolis-Worster of Alpine, Wyo.; and grandchildren, Kameron Joseph DeCarolis and Kenley Marie DeCarolis.

Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, in St. Joseph University Parish, 113 South 5th St., Terre Haute, with Friar Mark Weaver O.F.M. Conv. officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or St. Joseph University Parish in Jack’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
