TERRE HAUTE —
Robert L. “Bobby” Dean, 47, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was a carpenter in the Carpenters Union Local 60. Bobby was born Jan. 15, 1965, in Terre Haute, to William Everett Dean Jr. and Roberta Lynn (Bennett) Dean.
He is survived by his wife Sandra “Sandi” (Mills) Dean; mother, Roberta “Bobbie” Dean of Terre Haute; daughters, Christina Goodman and her husband Brandon of Texas, Jodi Tipton of Louisville, Ky., Nicole Taylor and her significant other Keith Harkness of Clarksville, Natasha Taylor and her significant other Daniel Lauck of Martinsville, Ind., and Danielle Nicole Dean; sons, Shawn Wooten and his wife Heather of Paragon, and Erik Taylor and his wife Angalee of Martinsville; sister, Candy Barnett and her significant other William Potter of Brownsburg; brothers, William E. Dean V. and his wife Candi of Riley, and Michael Dean and his wife Erica of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Kinnidi, Gaige, Kira, Zoe, Jessa, Ayden, Norman, and Mason; nephews, Josh Dean and his wife Natalie, Michael Dean Jr., and Dylan Dean; niece, Camisha Barnett; two great-nephews; one great-niece; and a large extended family.
Bobby loved to play pool and was on the Valley Cash League, loved to play poker, was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan, and also an avid NASCAR fan. Also he had worked for the Laborer’s Union Local 120 for 10 years.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, from 1 until 4 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive, with funeral services at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Online condolences may be left at:
