WEST TERRE HAUTE —
Robert S. “Sammy” Vermillion, 51, of West Terre Haute, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. Sammy was born June 30, 1961, the son of Robert and Marie (Hedding) Vermillion.
Mr. Vermillion was an owner/operator of his own over the road trucking company, and also was a farmer. Sammy was a lifelong resident of West Terre Haute and was a United States Marine Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his father, Robert Vermillion of West Terre Haute; brothers, Danny (Melissa) Vermillion of Columbus, and William (Pat) Vermillion of West Terre Haute; and a sister, Diane (Gary) Stephany of Rochester, N.Y.
