TERRE HAUTE —
Norma J. Goings, 85, of Terre Haute, passed away at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born in Danville, Ill., on Jan. 29, 1928, to Alfred J. and Frances L. (Spickard) Delvallee. Norma was married on Feb. 8, 1948, to Harry L. Goings, who passed away in 1982. They were owners of Terre Haute Tool and Die.
Norma was a member of United Methodist Temple. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends at Shady Oak, and playing the piano.
Norma also was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Marsha Zebrowski; and sister, Frances Jones. She is survived by her children, John Goings and his wife Cynthia of Palm City, Fla., and Martha Flora and her husband Larry of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Greg Lansaw of Atlanta, Karrie Houghton of West Terre Haute, Zachary Zebrowski of Pittsburgh, Gwen Zebrowski of Clinton, Angie Goodman of Portage, Ind., Milana Goings of Chicago, and Marianna Goings of Tallahassee; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. (EST) at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Ill. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 5 until 7 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive.
