Dana Allen Wallace, of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Union hospital, at the age of 53. He was born April 7, 1959, in Greene County, to George Orville Wallace and Edwina Shertzer Wallace.
He is survived by his beloved life partner, Diane Chance; one sister, Shannon McKinley of Palestine, Ill.; four nephews, Dale Harris, John Rick Richards and Terry Lee Chance, all of Terre Haute, and Jason Wallace of Seelyville; and one niece, Carla Wallace of Terre Haute.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marjorie Linn Richards, and one brother, Bruce G. Wallace, both of Terre Haute.
Dana loved the Washington Redskins, was an avid reader, and collector of baseball caps and pewter dragons.
A private memorial service for the family is being planned. Simple Cremations and Burials in Clinton, assisted with arrangements.
